Across the Samhla project, Lauren will be producing a range of objects employing new fabrication techniques which will be exhibited in different contexts across Skye. Using mineral and hydrophobic materials, these objects will incorporate minerals from the land which will return to the ground over the object’s lifetime, positively contributing to a live ecosystem. To assist with this work, Lauren would love to receive any empty scrap or spare buckets on Skye, particularly those which have text or images on their surface.
