Stuart McAdam
Stuart McAdam (b. 1982) was born in Paisley. He studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, graduating in 2008. McAdam works in situ with performances and interventions, documenting these with photography, drawing and found objects. McAdam has created a body of work focused on lines and borders in the landscape such as railways, canals and rivers. He is interested in slow transport with project Slow Marathon / Lines Lost, carried out in conjunction with Deveron Arts in Huntly. McAdam exhibited in 2014 at the Royal Scottish Academy exhibition Open Dialogues as part of the GENERATION: 25 Years of Contemporary Art in Scotland programme.
