Land Line Five Walks In Skye

Land Line was a series of five walks over five days that offered a unique chance to explore our relationship with the landscape. Led by Skye-based artist Caroline Dear, each featured a specially invited collaborator and encouraged observation and conversation.

As an artist, Caroline is interested in questioning how we engage with the environment. She uses plants and the skills and knowledge held around them as a hinge to link us with the land. These walks each focused on a particular plant through which different aspects of the landscape were investigated and cultural connections explored.
