To launch our third chapbook in the Making Publics series, we will gather at An Crùbh for a day of collective publication making.
This edition, which hosts contributions from the Feeling wor(l)ds correspondents, invites folk to produce their own unique publication, creating and adding in different elements before binding.
As a prompt for this, Astrida Neimanis sends us correspondence from following Ashanti Harris’s walking workshop Listening with the Body along the shores of a lake in the unceded syilx territory of Kelowna, BC, Canada.
Responding to Astrida’s notations, we will make drawings, cut-up texts, write poems, and make glossaries relating to the words and world around us. Alongside our press, we will have scanners, printers and a range of materials available for people to make their own pages, feel free to bring your own too.
We will be making publications throughout the day, so drop in and out as you please. A discounted lunch will be available in the An Crùbh cafe for those who attend.
