View this post on Instagram Brilliant first session at Portree Primary School this morning with our new 'Your Shore' drawing residency with artist @philippacaitlin working with the P5 class to explore the tidal zone. The students were producing beautiful prints using items collected from the shore to make into their own concertina books. We are looking forward to next week's session already, we'll be outside with our wellies at the oyster table! #climavoreskye #printing #creativitymatters A post shared by ATLAS Arts (@atlasarts) on Mar 13, 2019 at 8:19am PDT

View this post on Instagram With such a stormy day, we were inside today for our 'Your Shore' drawing residency at Portree Primary School. Artist @philippacaitlin had the class closing their eyes and imagining what they might see, smell, feel and do on the foreshore. This inspired them when making their big class drawing using homemade brushes made from some of their finds on the beach. The smell of seaweed certainly helped with the visualization! After the Easter hols, we'll be back at Bayfield for the outdoor classroom at the oyster table. #climavoreskye πππ¨ A post shared by ATLAS Arts (@atlasarts) on Apr 3, 2019 at 7:25am PDT
