Mehfil-Ceilidh is an exchange project between Pakistan and Skye/Lochalsh, bringing folk together to discuss themes of cultural memory and connection, and to explore the value and role that artists play in the diversity, wellbeing and richness of our communities.

The folk taking part in the exchange in Skye/Lochalsh are Rufus Isabel Elliot, Deirdre Graham, Dr Mamoona Khan, Zunnash Shakeel Khan, Katharine Macfarlane, Malcolm Mackenzie, Hector Mackie, Nimra Sardar, Muhammad Ibrahim (Save Cultural Heritage Group and Quaid-i-Azam University), Dr Sadia Saeed (Quaid-i-Azam University) and the ATLAS team.

Mehfil-Cèilidh is funded by the British Council’s International Collaboration Grants, which are designed to support UK and overseas organisations to collaborate on international arts projects.
