ATLAS Arts Café was a broadcast project on community radio station Cuillin FM. A monthly programme of talks, interviews and discussions with local, national and international artists – ATLAS Arts Café was produced and presented by ATLAS, with occasional guest producers and interviewers.
Each show encouraged engagement with a range of contemporary artists, from a variety of disciplines, often featuring artists who would appear as part of the Talking Art Series. ATLAS Arts Café shows aimed to continue the discourse and insight shared into how artists make work and approach developing their practice. All broadcasts were available to live-stream online, and were recorded in order to develop an educational archive of contemporary art discussion.
Artists featured on the show included: Nicky Bird, Duncan Currie, Steve Dilworth, Graham Fagan, J. Maizlish Mole, Anne Martin, Gemma Petrie, SkyeDance, Dr. Angus Venter, Stuart Whatley and many more.
