Join us for a day with the Skye Zine Library, a growing collection of over 200 zines gathered from Skye, Raasay, Lochalsh and beyond. We’ll spend the day cataloguing and exploring the existing collection, getting to know its themes, voices and connections.
Alongside this, there will be space to make your own fiction zine if you wish in collaboration with the Open Book Creative Writing Group, which you may choose to add to the library.
Lunch will be provided, and the day offers a chance to learn new skills, browse the collection and meet others interested in zines, publishing and shared making.
The Skye Zine Library holds alternative voices, ideas, and continues to grow through contribution and exchange.
Laptops will be set up for cataloguing but please bring your own if you can.
