Described as ‘one of the outstanding artists of his generation in Scotland’ by Duncan Macmillan, Will Maclean has designed a limited edition artwork inspired by his very personal connection to the Isle of Skye. Maclean’s school holidays were spent with his grandparents in Kyelakin after his parents moved to Inverness when he was three. This silver fish slice evokes his memories of the Misty Isle herring boat which was part of this once thriving industry.
