2024 Seed swap BBQ with Portree Allotments

Come along to Portree Community Allotments on Saturday 5 April for kite making, flying, and a family BBQ. We’ll have all the materials needed for making and decorating our kites, and a potluck BBQ afterwards. Bring your own kite if you have one! We’ll have burgers and bread, feel free to add a dish if you can. Free, all welcome.

Beneath the sun is a quote from The Deluge and The Tree’ a poem by Palestinian poet Fadwa Tuqan.

The seed swap box will be there for anyone who wants to take and add seeds for the growing season. Seed Stewardship is a slow, ongoing series of seed saving, storytelling events, film screenings and publication sharings focused on seed sovereignty, global food security and land justice. You can see past events here.
