Artist and photographer Nicky Bird talks about her work and experience in new media with a focus on her project Archaeology of the Ordinary. Her work investigates the contemporary relevance of found photographs, the hidden histories of archives and specific sites. This is followed by a conversation with Lorayne McLucas, Development manager with SkyeDance. McLucas recounts the groups achievements since forming in 2003 and shares her own development as a dancer, tracing her formative years at her local school Knightswood Secondary in Glasgow which was part of the dance school of Scotland’s musical theatre school through to her appearance in Eden Court’s Mother Goose in 2013.
