An evening of song, dream-talk and food with Daniel Godínez Nivón and special guests.
An informal welcome dinner with Mexican artist Daniel Godínez Nivón as he joins us for the second part of his artist residency. Everyone is welcome, come in and grab and bowl of something warm as we share lullabies, dreams, and discuss the quiet rituals that carry us from waking into sleep. Through listening, stories, and conversation, we’ll explore lullabies and songs as more than children’s songs, as carriers of care, protection, memory, and connection.
Drawing on Daniel’s practice, personal dream stories and Gaelic tradition, we’ll chat about how songs hold landscapes, knowledge and histories, and how dreams continue these threads through the night. Come and go as you please, bring a dish if you wish but the communal dinner is free and open to all.
A warm, welcoming evening to sing the night in, listen deeply, and enjoy stories, songs, and dreams together.
