Self-Publishing Artist Commission: Caitlin Ferguson

Following our recent open call for an artist to develop an ambitious new art project that delves into histories of publication making, and the continuing culture of self-publishing here we are excited to announce that Caitlin Ferguson has been invited. Caitlin is a graphic designer and artist based in Skye with a particular focus on Gaelic language, culture, and place.

Caitilin says ​“I’m really delighted to be working with ATLAS Arts on a project that brings together creativity, community, and culture. As a designer based in Skye, this residency offers a valuable opportunity to explore local stories, language, and the history of self-publishing, within a culture that already shapes my creative work.”
