Feeling wor(l)ds is a project exploring how we might attend to the intimacies of place through being in correspondence with others.

In summer 2022, ATLAS Arts will be in correspondence with Camille Auer (Turku), Ashanti Harris (Glasgow) and Astrida Neimanis (unceded syilx territory, Kelowna, BC) via email.

Correspondence is an age-old method for being in touch, keeping in touch, and exchanging experiences, feelings and stories. Feeling wor(l)ds proposes a method of corresponding with one another’s practices, responding with thoughts, questions, experiences, work in process – feeling them out in relation.

Much of this correspondence will be intimately exchanged, but an accompanying public programme will unfold in response, inviting audiences to participate in performances, workshops and exercises led by artists, writers and poets.

Feeling wor(l)ds is a partnership project with Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland.
