Trotternish Ridge, Katharine Macfarlane, 2022.
I found myself singing in a language that was not my own
— Katharine Macfarlane

UPDATE: Due to high winds we will be meeting now at the Hungary Gull and not the carpark as previously stated.

Join poet Katharine Macfarlane at Loch Langaig to explore the ways we relate to the worlds around and within us through language, feeling and sound. With spoken word, storytelling and song, Katharine’s poetry reading and following workshop invite participants on a multilingual journey moving through soundscapes and memories to explore a sense of belonging. We’ll spend some time beside the loch leaning into our environment and building our own soundscapes of being and belonging before sharing these (and a strùpag) by the fire.

This event has a participatory element and spaces are limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you can no longer attend, please let us know so that someone else can take your spot.
