Turmeric anthotype, Coire nam Bruadaran, Skye, Daniel Godínez Nivón, 2026
An afternoon drawing workshop with Daniel Godínez Nivón.
This informal afternoon workshop at Raasay Hall invites people of all ages to spend time drawing the landscape with artist Daniel Godínez Nivón. Using simple materials, we’ll explore drawing as a way of responding to place and thinking about our dreams – no previous experience needed.
The session will focus on shapes, textures and impressions of Raasay, with relaxed prompts drawn from land, memory, and the kinds of images that linger or drift into daydreams and sleep. For those who wish, there will be opportunities to share drawings, thoughts, or stories – including quiet reflections on dreaming and how places stay with us – though sharing is always optional.
A calm, welcoming afternoon of drawing and conversation, shaped by the land.
Transport offered from within Raasay, and from Portree. Spaces will be limited. Email info@atlasarts.org.uk if you’d like a lift.
