Philippa Thomas is an artist and designer, originally from Kent but now based in the Isle of Skye.
She has a BA (Hons) in Visual Communication from Edinburgh College of Art and an MA in Performance Design from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Her work incorporates drawing, spatial design, printmaking, model-making and installation. She is currently developing a series of prints with a graphic style exploring the geology, archaeology, and architecture of the Hebrides. Thomas also continues to work collaboratively with organisations including the University of Bristol’s Chemistry and Epidemiology departments, and has recently created installation work for practice-as-research projects (Figuring, 2018) and public engagement projects (Data Mine, 2016).
