Alex Frost

Born in London, Alex Frost (b. 1973) works primarily in sculpture and drawing. His work points to the ludicrous, working with subjects which touch all of society; from the contents of our shopping baskets to our continual search for working Wi-Fi. Frost’s work explores the social and the personal without passing judgment and examines the points where contemporary and historical issues meet

Frost has exhibited widely in solo and group presentations; New Forest Pavillion at the 2009 Venice Biennale; The Connoisseurs at Dundee Contemporary Arts, Dundee, Property Guardian at Flat Time House, London. Alex’s mosaic sculpture work Adult (Ryvita/Crackerbread) is held in the collection of Glasgow Museums.
