Atlas Arts

Welcome to Heather Fulton, ATLAS Arts newly appointed Producer

Big ATLAS news this week, as we welcome Heather Fulton as our newly appointed Producer and head into the new year with a brand new team.

Heather joins ATLAS Arts with a wealth of experience, previously working as Event Coordinator for LIVE! / BEÒ! Festival, Programme Assistant at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop, Summer Programme Assistant at Hospitalfield, Arbroath, in various roles at The National Galleries from 2015-2018 and as British Council Research Fellow at the Venice Biennale in 2019. She is a UNESCO Biosphere youth delegate, currently developing a curatorial project to coincide with the United Nations COP26 Climate Change summit in Glasgow in 2020, and worked with Deveron Projects in Huntly on a paper entitled ‘Understanding Value: A Case Study of Deveron Projects Stakeholders and the Town Collection’ as part of her Masters in Arts, Cultural and Festival Management at Queen Margaret University.

Heather says: “I am absolutely delighted to have been offered the role at ATLAS arts. I am looking forward to meeting everyone, continuing the great work delivered by former Producer Shona Cameron and working within the ATLAS team to develop an engaging and innovative artistic programme for the future.

We look forward to working with Heather who joins newly appointed Artistic Director Ainslie Roddick in the office this week. Look out for us in the basement of the Gathering Hall in Portree, feel free to pop in and say hello any time and watch this space for new programme announcements next year.
