Team & Contact

ATLAS Arts is currently a team of four people, who work to organise the programme collectively. As a team we work in the office and from home. On a normal week you will find ATLAS’ staff walking or driving around Skye, Raasay or Lochalsh – putting up posters, visiting people, checking zine libraries haven’t blown away, delivering equipment – or in wellies and waterproofs setting up for an event.

We are a small team, and we share responsibilities for some tasks between us such as social media updates, bookkeeping and cleaning. Below are descriptions of each team member’s roles and interests:

Katharine Barrington

Programme Assistant
katharine@atlasarts.org.uk

My role is to provide support to the team, the artists and communities we work alongside, that might be putting together our newsletter, dashing to the post office, or research in the archive centre. Get in touch with me if you have any access questions, want to come along to one of our events or if you're not sure who in the team to contact, try me and I can point you in the right direction.

Heather Fulton

Producer / Co-Director (Maternity Cover)
heather@atlasarts.org.uk

In my role, I work with artists and communities across Skye, Raasay, Lochalsh, and beyond to plan and deliver the artistic programme. I’m interested in how art can create shared experiences and foster understanding between people and the environments we inhabit. This photo is from our Seed Stewardship project, with seeds and zines in our libraries across Skye and Lochalsh and a wonderful garlic gift from our friend Harriet.

Send me an email if you want to know more about our programme and how to get involved, or simply wish to say hello!

Robyn Wolsey

Community Economies Manager / Co-Director (Maternity Cover)
robyn@atlasarts.org.uk

My role is to handle financial management, development and fundraising together with the ATLAS team. I’m interested in varied forms of exchanges all across Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh, and how these can be better supported.

Get in touch if you would like to know more or get involved. I’d love to hear from you!

Ainslie Roddick

Artistic Director (Maternity Leave November 2023-November 2024)
ainslie@atlasarts.org.uk

I am responsible for the care of the team and for creating structures for ATLAS' artistic and strategic work to unfold. I oversee financial management, fundraising and operations too.

The Making Publics Press at ATLAS is one of my favourite things. I set up an open source publication studio at the CCA in Glasgow, and The Glasgow Seed Library too, and I love the conversations that come from these things. Making a book with another person is a magical process and sending a book out into the world that might not otherwise exist is one of the best parts of my job.
