ATLAS Arts is seeking an enthusiastic friendly individual to join our team as a film installation invigilator. You will act as a welcoming host for an upcoming film installation at Dunvegan Castle. For a period of six weeks, ATLAS will present Margaret Salmon’s film ‘Eglantine’.

The role of the assistant is to meet and greet visitors in the space and inform visitors about the work. You will also be part of the team, responsible for making sure the equipment is looked after, upholding the high levels of attention to detail in its presentation and security.

Applicants should have:

  • A keen interest in and/or knowledge of film and/or contemporary art
  • Experience of working with the public/customer focused role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Friendly and helpful disposition
  • Excellent visitor service skills

The invigilator will be required to work every Wed – Sun, 9.45am – 5.15pm, with an hour’s lunch break. Start date 19th of May for six-weeks.

We are willing to consider applications from individuals who can work only part of the days specified.

The successful applicant will be paid the National Living Wage at the hourly rate of £8.75.
